Vale of Catmos’ Very Own ‘Robin Hoods’ at Have-A-Go Archery
Vale of Catmos Lodge held its highly anticipated annual archery event at Bowmen of Rutland Archery Club, in which our brothers and families were cordially invited to participate. This engaging gathering comprised a series of shooting practice sessions, conducted under the expert guidance of qualified coaches, who provided valuable tips and techniques. Following the practice, there was an exciting competition where participants competed for a coveted trophy and various prizes, fostering both friendly rivalry and camaraderie among the attendees.
It was a very close and exciting competition, with Brother Graham Waller finishing in a close second place and the reigning champion, Worshipful Brother Michael Blackwood, giving no room for error throughout the event!
The winner of the highly anticipated competition was none other than our Junior Warden, Brother Glenn Mitchell!
A big thanks to our esteemed Worshipful Brother Bob Lucas for his efforts in arranging this event.
We look forward to the opportunity to come together and experience this again next year!
